Congratulations to our Gemba Challenge finalist teams!

Soon the 11 best UD Trucks teams will be heading to Tokyo to compete in the second ever Gemba Challenge final.

Here is all the information you need to know before you get there.


  • The agenda is as follows, and exact times will be communicated in the coming weeks.
    Monday 14th November

    19:00 - Welcome Dinner in the Hotel (Sakura)

    Tuesday 15th November

    08:00 - Coach transfer to The Competition

    17:30 - Coach transfer back to the Hotel Metropolitan

    19:30 - Meet in the hotel lobby for short walk to dinner venue

    Wednesday 16th November

    07:00 - Group Breakfast, with station debrief

    08:15 - Meet in the hotel lobby for coach transfer to Tokyo City Tour and Group activity

    16:30 - Arrival back at the hotel

    17:45 - Meet in the hotel lobby for coach transfer to Gala Dinner (Hotel Chinzanso)

    23:45 - Final shuttle bus leaves Hotel Metropolitan

    Thursday 17th November

    Check out and depart to the airport

Arrival Information

  • As you come through the baggage reclaim, look for a member of our support staff, who will be holding a Gemba Challenge sign. They will then escort you to the coach, which will take you directly to the hotel door.
  • Once you enter the hotel, walk up to the Gemba Challenge Reception Desk, where you will be checked-in.
